“Great web design without functionality is like a sports car with no engine.”
My past real estate career has taught me the importance of empathy, listening to clients' needs, and iterative testing in order to figure out the best solution for users of the service or product. What result do they want and how can we help them accomplish that with minimal effort?
Now, after having worked as web developer at my last position, I am looking to expand my skillset into digital marketing after realizing that a good site or product isn't very useful without good marketing and good analytics to track results.
Projects
CampPics
A practise ground for digital marketing - the aim is to encourage the public to share photos and videos of campsites in Canadian provincial, territorial, and federal parks, in order to help out their fellow campers.
Marketing will commence in 2026 closer to the camping season.
Over 70,000 campsites scraped with Python and Excel.
Arcadis Viz
A place for the Creative Services team to showcase its work internally and to potential clients.
A dynamic website that gets most of its content from Autodesk ShotGrid, allowing the team to easily update their portfolio. Relies on a separate backend to obtain data and for caching to overcome API limitations, to account for higher levels of traffic.
PropSked
After working at FusePM, I took on my first relatively advanced website that allows tenants to easily schedule showings without needing to contact the landlord. This automated service saves the landlord time by not having to respond to every showing inquiry, with new users everyday.
Created with the help of several NPM packages for a simpler experience.
